WADA Prohibited List
Also: anti-doping · S2 peptide hormones · S0 non-approved substances
The World Anti-Doping Agency's annual list of substances banned in sport; most growth-hormone and repair peptides are prohibited at all times.
The World Anti-Doping Agency publishes an annual Prohibited List that governs what athletes subject to testing may use. It is organised into categories. S0 covers non-approved substances, meaning any compound not currently approved by a regulator for human use, and names BPC-157 explicitly as an example. S2 covers peptide hormones, growth factors and related substances, and includes growth hormone, its releasing factors and secretagogues such as CJC-1295, ipamorelin, GHRP-6 and tesamorelin, as well as TB-500 and the growth hormone fragments AOD-9604 and HGH Fragment 176-191.
Not everything is prohibited. The GLP-1 agonists semaglutide, tirzepatide and retatrutide are not on the list, although retatrutide, being unapproved, arguably falls under S0. Melanotan II is not listed. Each profile's "Regulatory status" section states the position as of its review date.
The list changes every January. Researchers working with athletes should check the current edition rather than rely on any summary, including this one.
