What is the half-life of Selank?

Short. Rodent data indicate the intact peptide is degraded in blood within minutes, although the Pro-Gly-Pro tail slows this relative to native tuftsin. Behavioural effects last hours, which is attributed to changes in gene expression that outlast the peptide rather than to circulating drug.

How was Selank dosed in studies?

Rodent studies most often used roughly 0.1 to 0.3 mg/kg intranasally or intraperitoneally. Russian clinical trials used the registered 0.15 percent nasal solution as drops several times daily for two to three weeks.
